The GHome Smart door locks do not support voice control, even through the gateway. Before purchasing, please note the following:
- The product only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and does not work with 5G WiFi.
- It is compatible with Tuya devices that work with the Tuya Smart App, Smart Life App, or the manufacturer's own app.
- The GHome Smart door locks cannot be voice controlled, even through the gateway.
To ensure a strong connection, we suggest keeping the distance between the lock and gateway to 10 feet or less. The WiFi gateway requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (not compatible with 5G WiFi).
The Bluetooth gateway can be voice controlled, but the connected smart devices need to support voice control, such as smart plugs and smart switches. However, you cannot control the GHome Smart door locks through Google or Alexa.
After connecting to the Bluetooth gateway, you can remotely control the GHome Smart door locks through the app, enabling remote unlocking.
The Bluetooth gateway and WiFi hub are compatible with a wide range of Tuya smart home devices, including smart locks, light sources, water valves, sensors, sockets, and switches, allowing you to easily expand your smart home system.
The app-based remote control feature allows you to unlock the door lock when you are away from home.
The Bluetooth and mesh signals used by the gateway are stable and reliable, with wide coverage, strong wall penetration, and low interference, as well as low heat generation and power consumption.
To ensure a stable connection, the distance between the WiFi gateway and the door lock should be within 33 ft. When adding the gateway, your smartphone and the gateway must be connected to the same WiFi network. One gateway can be paired with multiple door locks on the same account.
