The G2 gateway, a Hornbill product, can be used with smart locks that can be controlled by the TTLock App and is also suitable for all smart locks of Hornbill. This gateway can be connected with the TTLock App to achieve remote control, which is no longer limited by the Bluetooth unlocking distance. It supports sharing, modifying, and deleting passcodes at any time and anywhere, and can also realize real-time monitoring of door status, battery life, and records of the door.

The G2 gateway only works with 2.4GHz networks. The recommended distance between the gateway and the smart lock is no more than 16 ft (5 meters), or the connectivity of the gateway will be affected. When adding the gateway, the user's smartphone and the gateway must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Setting up the G2 gateway is easy. Users need to open the TTLock App, click the upper left corner, choose "Gateway," click "+," choose G2 (Wi-Fi), plug in the gateway, click next when the light flashes alternately (red and blue), choose the Wi-Fi, and enter the Wi-Fi password.
